Pop 66

"Pinhole photography is an old, elegant, simple technology. Images are created, as the name implies, by a tiny pin-sized hole that lets light into a camera. Light reflecting from a scene travels through the pinhole, creating an image on the side of the camera opposite the hole." ~Wes Pope

To promote his new book "Pop 66", I made a crowdfunding video for author Wes Pope.

In conjunction with PSG Wire, Wes Pope is publishing a book of his pop can pinhole photographs along the Mother Road. You’re aware that it exists, aware of the song. “It goes from Chicago to L.A.,” I knew that much. But I didn’t know the meaning or the significance before I started this project. Then, by chance, I found myself needing to get from Los Angeles to Chicago in March of 1998. I bought a couple guidebooks and started trying to teach myself more about it.”
