After the Protests

Shortly after Donald Trump was elected in November, 2016, sometimes-violent protests broke out around the country. While these protests are an important part of American democracy, their participants don't always keep local homeless populations' lives in mind. Some homeless people join the protests as a way to make their already-silenced voices heard and to express their frustration with a society that has failed them. Other homeless people, especially families, cooperate with local law enforcement in order to survive the chaos.
